A robust red ale brewed with Crystal and Munich malt to give it a distinctive red hue in the glass. A good percentage of Rye malt in the recipe lends another spicy, peppery dimension.
Liberal use of late Centennial and Willamette hops lend a wonderful punchy northwest US hop character, giving citrus-pine aromatics to balance the bold, spicy malt backbone.A
Red Rye IPA
It’s full in body, complex in character, with hints of caramel, complimented by black-pepper hints from the Rye malt. A blend of Willamette and Centennial hops start with citrus aroma, and then build through a solid bitterness to leave the drinker with a nice late fruity and piney character.
